The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the construction of the new Holy Church of Archangel Michael took place on July 29, 2018, at 7 p.m., led by His Eminence Metropolitan Athanasios of Limassol.

The inauguration of the catholicon of the new Holy Church took place on February 19, 2022.
